IT support in Malmesbury

Daniel knows Malmesbury from the inside: he worked in IT here at Lucent Technologies, and later ran IT for the whole of IMSM from its office at The Gig House. Now he looks after the farms, businesses and homes around it.

Malmesbury

Farms, businesses and homes around Malmesbury

Malmesbury sits on its hill above the Avon, with the abbey at the top and farmland in every direction: dairy and mixed farms out towards Brokenborough and Crudwell, arable towards the Somerfords, and the edge of the Cotswolds to the north and west.

In the town, full fibre has reached plenty of streets. A couple of miles out, it's a different story: farms on long copper lines, stone farmhouses where the Wi-Fi gives up at the kitchen door, and outbuildings with no signal at all. That gap between the town and the farm is most of Daniel's work.

There's a lot of business in and around the town too, from the high street to the workshops and offices on the edges. Same principles, smaller yard.
